LinesThatRhyme.net was launched in 2025 by me, Philip Gegan. I am a retired lawyer and have enjoyed writing, including some rhymes and poems, nearly all my life. I have a few books, including two rhyming stories, published on Amazon. You can check out my Amazon page here. I live in the middle of old England with my wife and a talkative budgie called Sydney.

What I do
I write rhyming stories and sales material in verse.
I am committed to high quality prose, writing that entertains as well as informs, and to protecting the English language.
A passion for writing
I believe that only those who are passionate about writing, who cannot get through a day without writing something original, can write well enough to expect others to pay for their writing.
Based in the Midlands
I’ve lived in England all my life, early years in the South, later on in East Anglia and then the Midlands. I know my English clients, and what they want in business and in life.
A life of writing
My chosen profession (law) involved writing of some sort nearly every day. Now I’m retired from it, I can use my skills and experience to help others.
The personal touch
I do all the writing myself. I’m the only person you’ll ever have to deal with. I don’t have staff. I like to keep things simple. And in case you’re wondering, I never touch AI (Artificial Intelligence) for writing.
